Skill:
Try something new
Create a board game. Tris can hide, but obstacles along the way are truth serum, reuniting with friends, jumping out windows...Can be as simple as Chutes and Ladders or as complex as Monopoly. After its created share with your friends.
Service:
Learn about Ethics and why certain professions have ethical guidelines. Are doctors allowed to talk about their patients’ conditions with friends? What would happen if a doctor told his neighbor that you had an illness and that neighbor knows you from school/church/sports?
Find a Veterans location near you and volunteer some time. Ask the Vets questions about where they served, when they served, why, etc. See what they think about receiving packages and letters when they were deployed.
Career:
Take a field trip to a functioning laboratory and learn about what the lab does and what type of people work there. What type of education did they need to work there? Why do they work there? Do they like their work?
Research a particular scientist who has made a substantial contribution to their field.
For Example: Albert Einstein discovered the Theory of Relativity. How did he prepare himself to make this discovery? (Was he in High School when he made this discovery? Did he go to college?)
Technology:
Create a word cloud for your favorite faction.
Find two games that teach the same concept. For example: Math facts. Find one that is simple flash cards in comparison to one with bells and whistles where there are racecars or bouncing objects. What makes one better than the other? Why? How could you use this to teach others?
Activity:
Play Laser Tag
Call a water gun or balloon fight, but use food coloring in the water guns and balloons and have all of the participants wear white T-shirts. (Save the T-Shirts for a future troop event.)
Play “The Mole”
Trust exercise. Blindfold another girl and lead her around by voice only, by one hand only, etc

Visit a retirement home and talk to some of the ‘older’ people there about what the town/city used to look like years ago. How has it changed? What would it have been like to live in the town/city when they were kids?
Research a person who had a big impact on the community or government, for instance Martin Luther King—African American/Black rights; Abraham Lincoln—slavery; What did they do? Why did they do it? What were the circumstances surrounding them? What did they have to endure to accomplish the things they are known for today? How many others can you remember?
An obstacle course game where you have to run over, under, around things, etc. and at the end shoot a bow and arrow at something. For younger girls nerf guns work fine.
