1. *What is the difference between States in the US and Federal Districts? Find out what District of Columbia’s flag looks like. Also find out the location on a United States map, the Federal District’s shape, the Federal District’s seal, population and size rank. Does this Federal District have a capital, nickname, date of admission into statehood, bird, flower, tree, animal, gem, insect, fish, or reptile? What symbols can you find that represent this Federal District?

1. * With the information found in requirement #1, create a collage of pictures that represent as many symbols as you can. Research and find 10 famous celebrities that are from the District of Columbia and add pictures of them to your collage as well. Share your collage with your group and show what you have learned.
