Friendship Magic
Daisies Pick 3, Brownies pick 4, Juniors pick 5 with 1 from each category C/S/A pick 7 with at least 2 from each category
Skills: MLP is all about helping friends in need and what lessons positive lessons can be learned from every situation. The ponies then take those lessons and apply them to their lives. They write letters to Princess Celestia explaining what they have learned. Think about what letter you would write to Princess Celestia at the end of this adventure. What would your letter say?
MLP also has elements that make their friendship magic that are powerful. Those elements are: Magic, Laughter, Kindness, Generosity, Honesty, and Loyalty. If you could wear a special necklace representing these elements what would they be? Design a necklace (either one that can be worn or draw out your design).
Service: Assist a friend in need. This could be helping a friend with a chore (laundry, taking out garbage, etc).
The ponies like to eat treats. Make a treat that can be shared with your friends.
Career: Visit a stable of horses. How are those horses like the ponies on My Little Pony? What do those horses eat? Is it anything like that they eat on the show? Who takes care of them? What jobs do the horses have?
Pick a job that services people and visit with someone in that position. What did you learn? What element of friendship does this job fall into?
Princess Celestia and Twilight Sparkle are often teachers to the other ponies. Visit with a teacher. Find out how they plan lessons and how they make things interesting for students to remember.
Technology: Princess Celestia likes to receive pictures with her letters that one of the ponies write. Using some pictures of you and your friends, create a scrapbook for you to reflect on your times with your friends and be able to share it.
Using a website, find elements online. Elements are often chemical compounds. What are some basic elements that everyone should know? What do those elements do?
Activities: Pick a song about friendship. What element does this song represent? Perform this song with a friend.
Design your own pony. What friendship element would this pony have? Don’t forget to include their cutiemark and a name.
