Skills: The Doctor is a Time Lord. He travels all through space and time assisting different people and species on different planets as he goes. The Doctor uses his special ship, The Tardis, to travel. No matter where he goes, the Doctor takes a puzzle and solves it. He is able to understand people, animals, aliens, no matter what language they speak. He also teaches that everyone is important. What languages can you speak? Give an example of those languages.
The Doctor uses a sonic screwdriver. This is like his magic wand. It enables him to get out of tough spots. Design your own sonic screwdriver/wand.
Career: The Tardis interprets for the Doctor so that he may be able to understand what everyone he meets is saying and so that he can speak their native language. Interview an interpreter. Find out what kind of training they go through? What language do they interpret?
There are special people in the world. The Doctor would help them, no matter their capabilities. What organizations help these people with special needs? Pick an organization and research what they do that helps everyone with these special needs. Interview one of them and find out exactly what they do to help everyone feel normal, just as the Doctor does.
Out of the jobs that help people/animals, Police, Fire, Psychology, Doctors, Teachers, and Vet which one of these careers would you most interested in? Pick one and explain why you would want to follow that path.
Technology: The Doctor travels in the Tardis, a blue box that is bigger on the inside. Design your own spaceship. Design the inside and the outside. Describe what these things are and where would you go?
Planets play a big part of Doctor Who’s story. Pick a planet and plot where it is in the sky. Is this planet suitable for humans to live on? What type of environment is on these planets?
Sometimes the Doctor meets famous people of the past. Using your resources, research a person from the past that you would like to meet. Explain why you chose them. What would you talk about? Would you help this person solve a problem, even if it could change history?
Activities: The Doctor meets all kinds of characters, some are friends and some are enemies. Create a character you think that the Doctor would meet. Give the character a name and describe this character. (Put together a costume, draw the character, design a character using pictures from magazines, etc).
Doctor Who is about time travel as well. Create a time capsule. Put in this capsule anything that you want to reflect on when you open it in the future.
The Doctor likes to solve puzzles. Have a puzzle competition with your friends. Put together a small puzzle as fast as you can and then have your friend put together the same puzzle and see who can build the puzzle the fastest
