Requirements:
Do four requirements, including the one starred.
1. *Donate small items for homeless families in shelters.
2. Learn the definition of homelessness. Who are they? How many are there? Why are they homeless?
3. Learn about what the government has done for the homeless. (Example: welfare, shelters, and soup kitchens.)
4. Find out about different kinds of homes. What makes them special?
5. Draw your own home. Discuss with others what you do at home, like your favorite things.
6. Have someone come in to talk to your troop or group about homelessness. What is it like? What are the problems they might have?
