Requirements:

Complete any 4 of the following:

1. Visit a veterinarian. How does he/she help the animals that come to see him/her? Write down any questions you might have for the veterinarian before your visit.

2. Visit the Animal Humane Society. How are the animals cared for? Why are animals sent here?

3. Discuss the proper care of three different pets.

4. Draw a picture of your favorite animal and write down why this would be your favorite pet. Would this animal make a good house pet? Why or why not?

5. Share your pet at a troop meeting. Tell all about its care and feeding schedule.

6. Visit a pet store. Where do all the pet store animals come from? How do they care for all the animals in the pet store?
